It powered an unusually wide set of nameplates, which is why the application list reads more like a model catalogue than a fitment note: Corolla CE / LE / S / VE, Fielder and Runx in Japan, Altis in Asia, Corolla Spacio and Corolla Verso, Allion, Premio, Vista and Vista Ardeo, WiLL VS, Caldina, RAV4, Celica GT, Matrix, Avensis, Opa and Isis — and, outside Toyota, the Chevrolet Prizm and Pontiac Vibe.
Note that the list also carries two vehicles that are not Toyotas — the Chevrolet Prizm and the Pontiac Vibe. If you are matching by badge rather than by the code stamped on the block, those two entries are worth checking against your own car.
Because so many of those cars were also sold with the later 2ZR-FE, the generation of your vehicle decides which page you need rather than the engine size. Both are 1.8L, and the codes are what separate them.
