Engine packaging

Custom-made wooden crates secured with strapping inside

got my engine , took about 2 months,

Finally got my engine, the crate was ripped apart, engine laying on the side, only thing keeping it from falling completely out was a clear piece of plastic film 2 inches wide, wrappesd around twice,,, wow, must be expensive film, the crate was cheaply built with staples not screws or nails. so, i havent installed the engine yet, hopefully it works, the engine does look good from the outside. also, communication with them after the initial transaction is impossible to get anyone to call, text, email. So, i hope this engine is of good quqlity, as the possibility of getting someone to warranty the engine does not look promising. its my fault for buying it, as the price was so cheap, the saying is,,,, if its to good to be true,,,,,,i pray i am not getting scammed. i thought of all of this when i bought the motor, did research on the company, but how do you really know what you are reading is true, especially when its as far away as China, I live in Texas. i am just hoping it is of good quality, like i said, it does look like a new motor, new castings, never been used or rebuilt.so, time will tell. But, they need to make it easier to contact someone, I tried every way on the website, oh wait, i did get a email one time, but it didnt have anything to do with the problems i was asking about, and I still havent gotten ONE REPLY, BACK!!!!! If the motor locks up when i start it, I have a feeling nothing will be done. And, there are no instructions on what type of oil to use, or do i need to use break in oil or what? Nothing,,,, not one piece of paper in the crate. But, because it was ripped open i guess it could have fallen out. Should have been stapled to the wood, if there was anything.
So, my experience so far has not been a good one, mainly because of no communication, that needs to be much better in my opinion. Just send me another motor, I have a feeling I will be needing it.GBennett, Waco Texas
